Great hoteliers, nice staff - great breakfast! Highlight the fresh egg that has not been available in this freshness in any hotel for a long time! Room cozy and very clean ours had a great terrace to enjoy a nightcap with a wine. Coronavirus assessment is not possible because the restaurant is closed. I would book there again at any time and have the same room! Thanks to the team for great accommodation

Lots of things to do

Super nice and friendly hosts. They helped with all questions and "problems". We had the twin room for 4 people. There were two bathrooms, that was great! The breakfast was very rich and good, even in spite of the Corona, we didn't miss anything! We took part in a wine tasting very spontaneously, it was not a problem and was worth it. Very personal and informative. We enjoyed our stay very much and would come back anytime! !Caution! The restaurants in Trittenheim are always very full If you want to go out to eat in the evening, you should definitely reserve in advance.

Really really good.. without exaggerating; but I was very satisfied .. I felt very comfortable from the start .. The nice reception, right through to the wine tasting and the trust in us that we serve ourselves in the evening, convinced me ..‼ ️ plus points thanks to the owners, or the hosts, very warm and good people ..‼ ️ I can only recommend and always happy .. Stayed there over the weekend. Nice rooms and great breakfast. Good wines. The owners very nice too. Wasn't our last stay there.

Very tasty wine and a nice terrace with friendly service. Definitely recommended for two glasses. However, if you want to take wine with you, you should look elsewhere because of the bottle prices. Because you pay about double the usual rate here. Still worth a visit.

Great wines. From old vines. Planting year from 1900. Single pile plants ... therefore obtained from pure handwork. Relaxed atmosphere. Sympathetic unobtrusive hosts. Wine bar ... and hotel rooms. Very clean and everything very lovingly prepared.

To the regular booking there was an additional 10 € / night for the dog. With what authorization? The wine is absolutely overpriced (16 € / bottle). The rooms are nice, but the location directly on the main road is like an overnight stay at the airport. 315 € are then excessive for three nights including breakfast. There are better places to stay.

Expensive and not tasty

Had stayed there with a noble drop. We liked it and will definitely be back.

We were the last guests on New Year's Eve in this hotel, after that it was closed. Although we tried hard to make the stay still enjoyable but had we known of the imminent closure, we would have booked another hotel.

Were there with 4 people over the weekend. Room inventory a bit dated but you are only there to sleep and rest anyway. Restaurant very tasty and unusual and finally with a Sunday brunch. Highly recommended for short breaks on the Moselle or Trier. The entire staff was friendly, courteous and informative. Gladly again!!!!

Good to stay a night. The rooms are clean, the breakfast has variation, and if you wish to eat at night the menu is great.

We wanted to the suspension bridge. Such a bad signage and service we have never experienced! Not recommendable!!!!

Food was OK - if a bit over-seasoned. The service is, however, very expandable. You can only conditionally recommend.

The restaurant visit was so unpleasant in every respect that only 1 star is appropriate: when we arrived we were assigned a table, but it was not cleaned. We sat in front of grease and crumbs and used glasses. Apparently the waitress didn't think it was necessary to prepare the table. This was pointed out hectically and rather carelessly once across the table. Dirty ceiling stayed ... After a long wait, one dish came with the wrong side dish, the other with almost raw potatoes. When this was pointed out, they only reacted with regret. The inedible potatoes were still billed in full. Prices way too high for mediocre cuisine. At the checkout, the waitress finally found himself incapable of adding notes after an incorrect invoice had been created. Conclusion: unspeakably bad service, mediocre cuisine, zero goodwill, poor cleanliness, completely overpriced! Absolutely avoid and prefer to go to the seminar house or the pizzeria across the street.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and big. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The family suite is great....2 connecting rooms. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. A perfect place for a family to stay.

A small hotel..maybe a bit outdated by modern hotel standards .. friendly people, clean rooms ... nicely situated at an important intersection..pleasant sun terrace

Worth a visit. Although you are sitting close to the road, it does not really bother you. Good food and good wine.

Tourist trap! Do not go there! We ordered 2 schnitzels and were asked if we wanted a salad. We decided to share 1 salad. We were brought 2 salads! Which turned out to be a half a tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and 4 salad leaves for 6.5 euro per salad. On top of that we ordered 2 drinks which turned out to be almost 5 euro per drink when they were listed as 2.5 euro. The schnitsel was okay but not very great. The sauce was dry and without flavour. A total rip-off and way overpriced!

Watch out! The cellar's casual question about the salad hides the question of a separately charged salad that is not worth the price. The answered question about french fries or fried potatoes is ignored. Hands off the completely sweetened onion soup! Food isn't worth the price. Go to the delicious pizzeria opposite.
